i had a lovely afternoon in santa monica with these two. they’re up for anything, indeed my favorite kind of people.

for now just one from the very spot where these two beautiful souls got engaged, more to come during the week.

now that i’m settling back into ‘normal life’ in california, i’ve been able to go through all the photos i took while i was in amsterdam. there are so many images that i love for various reasons, each image in this set of 11 speaks to me in unique ways. i’m interested to hear your thoughts and reactions to them! what speaks to you and why?

this post is long overdue, i’ve been meaning to share these images for the last few weeks! i always seem to be out of the country for ‘defining moments in american history’. on january 20th i was in amsterdam, at a hole in the wall sports bar on the leidseplein. *note the 10 jager shots for 10 euros!* the pride, excitement and relief i felt at the moment these photos were made will forever stay with me.

today was a beautiful day. i went for a drive.
