i spent my last day of two weeks in NY with one of my closest girlfriends and her soon to be husband, george. even though we now live on opposite coasts and don’t get to see each other often, lauren and i met during a semester abroad in college have been through so much together. we hiked the himalayan hills, shared a tent in rural tibet and even spent a month in kathmandu sick with the same parasite (oh yes, it was quite a bonding experience!) when i moved out to california she drove cross country with me. we have had countless trips to colorado and red rocks. and now i have the honor of being her wedding photographer! i’m so glad that i got to spend the day getting to know george, he is a perfect match for lauren and i can’t wait to celebrate with them at their wedding next may in washington DC.

words to describe this wedding day escape me, i am so honored to have documented the blending of families and cultures.

this afternoon i took a stroll through the east village with yael and marcus who are getting married this thursday. their wedding is bittersweet for me since it’s the last of the year, but i have a feeling is going to be incredible! check back next week for photos from the wedding, for now a few of my favorites from today.

i can’t believe it’s been two years since i photographed andrea and dave’s destination wedding in vermont!

now they are parents to this gorgeous and sweet little boy…meet leo!

i had so much fun with these two! brooke is going to be an amazing bride, she got back from a business trip to brazil earlier this morning and was a total trooper for our shoot. very much looking forward to their wedding in fabulous westhampton next summer!! a few of my favorites…

one of my favorite weddings ever! not only do i adore chris and brenda, but i also got to hang out with two couples who’s weddings i’ve shot - andrea and dave (and their gorgeous baby leo! their family shoot is forthcoming…) and becca and doug (and i love that becca wore her blue wedding shoes to c&b’s wedding!) everything about this day fell into place perfectly, even brenda forgetting her shoes and going barefoot! i had the hardest time choosing just a few images to share here, enjoy!

i can’t wait to share lots more from this wedding, but for now just one…
