yesterday (after years of trying…!) i finally got to photograph two of my favorite friends who are recently engaged. jess and i have known each other for almost 10 years, she was my brother’s roommate in law school and subsequently has become one of my best friends. we’ve been to all four corners of the USA together (sidenote: we’ve travelled to maine, florida, washington and california for phish shows.) jess introduced me to papusa, vanilla bean tea and hopefully this year, burning man. we’ve dined in cambridge had an unfortunate incident involving a tuna melt in cambridge, danced to p-funk on new years eve and literally camped out in the mud together. however, yesterday was probably some of the most fun in recent memory. jess and jon, i love you both. i’m so excited that you are finally betrothed and cannot wait for next september, xoxo.

yesterday i spent the afternoon in LA with the lovely watts family…i love shooting family portraits at home! aside from everyone feeling comfortable in their own environment it also gives me a chance to see the family’s design aesthetic. cathy and andrew have such great style, and it was so much fun hanging out with them and their delightful kids. a few of my favorites..

yesterday i photographed jenn and mike’s wedding incredible destination wedding with my great friend allana taranto. there are so many photographs that i want to share that i’m going to break them up into two posts…here are my favorites from the first half of the day. more soon!

i love when the line between engagement session and family portrait blurs. i had so much fun getting to know these guys and can’t wait to meet their families (coming all the way from oklahoma!) at shana and patrick’s wedding in just a few weeks.

yesterday i had the most fun engagement session…i adore these two! up for anything and all smiles.

too tired for words, but i couldn’t wait to share a few of my favorites from today.

while i was in the netherlands for marloes and gianfranco’s wedding i took a few days to recharge my creative batteries in one of my favorite cities. i am frequently asked what my vacation photos look like, so i wanted to share a few images that were made with a point and shoot camera.
